SENIOR NURSERY MANAGER

Location: Tops Bournemouth, Bournemouth, Dorset

Salary: ÂŁ35.000 to ÂŁ40.000 per annum

Additional uncapped bonus

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week / Full-time- compressed working and flexible working.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Nursery Manager, you’ll help create a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care. You’ll supervise children, ensure their safety, and organize activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks. While some days might be challenging, you’ll also laugh, have fun, and make lasting memories with our children during one of the most important development stages of their lives!

Tops Bournemouth Nursery is a 131 place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in Bournemouth Royal Hospital, Bournemouth. The nursery run several extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and much more!

This role isn’t just about managing; it’s about partnership. As an employee-owner at Tops, you’re not just another manager—you’re a partner in the business! You’ll share in our success with bonus opportunities, both for being a co-owner and for hitting your management targets (on-target earnings).

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a motivated leader who loves working with children and thrives in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A Level 3 Early Years Qualification (minimum).
  • A passion for creating safe, educational, and engaging spaces for children.
  • The ability to lead with positivity and enthusiasm, inspiring your team every day.
  • An in-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with staff, parents, and children alike.
  • A knack for managing a diverse workload, balancing priorities, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety, ensuring compliance and risk assessments are carried out effectively.
