The Role

Are you passionate about supporting early years education? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment? We’re looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our small, hardworking, friendly team in Early Education Funding.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in administering funding for early education and childcare providers across Tameside including Free Entitlement Funding for under 2s, 2-year-olds, and 3- and 4-year-olds. Your work will directly support the quality and sustainability of early years provision in our community.

  • Technically Proficient – You’re comfortable using the full Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ideally have experience with databasesan external software is used for funding administration.
  • Supportive and Knowledgeable – You can advise stakeholders on the technical and quality aspects of funding regimes and ensure their submissions meet required standards.
  • Independent Yet Collaborative – You’re self-driven and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, while also being a positive team player.
  • Flexible and Eager to Learn You can juggle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and are keen to embrace training and development opportunities.
