My UK based Consultancy Client is looking for a Workday HCM Payroll Administrator to support their growing HR operations and ensure smooth, accurate payroll processing across the organisation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer payroll processes using Workday HCM, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll data, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation, tax, and benefit deductions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues in Workday, partnering with HRIS, Finance, and IT teams.
- Perform regular audits, reconciliations, and reporting on payroll data.
- Support payroll processing for multiple states (or countries, if global).
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings, garnishments, and other statutory deductions.
- Assist in system upgrades, configuration changes, and testing within Workday HCM.
Skills & Experience:
- Multiple years of experience with Workday Payroll or Workday HCM (required).
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing (or international payroll, if applicable).
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
