My UK based Consultancy Client is looking for a Workday HCM Payroll Administrator to support their growing HR operations and ensure smooth, accurate payroll processing across the organisation.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer payroll processes using Workday HCM, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll data, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation, tax, and benefit deductions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues in Workday, partnering with HRIS, Finance, and IT teams.
  • Perform regular audits, reconciliations, and reporting on payroll data.
  • Support payroll processing for multiple states (or countries, if global).
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings, garnishments, and other statutory deductions.
  • Assist in system upgrades, configuration changes, and testing within Workday HCM.

Skills & Experience:

  • Multiple years of experience with Workday Payroll or Workday HCM (required).
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing (or international payroll, if applicable).
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
