About the role:

As a Property Compliance Manager, you will:
- Ensure the Society has a Property Compliance Programme that is maintained, reviewed regularly, considers legislative changes, and is fit for purpose, meeting all legal requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support regarding statutory requirements and planned preventative maintenance across the Society’s portfolio.
- Manage the Property Compliance Risk Register, highlighting and mitigating risks, and informing line management of concerns.
- Oversee compliance contractors, working with the Procurement and Legal teams to select competent contractors, agree contracts, and review performance via SLAs and KPIs.
- Attend monthly capex meetings with Food Retail to advise on compliance submissions.
- Participate in Health & Safety Steering Group meetings to provide guidance to trading groups.
- Analyze data and produce reports for senior management, recommending improvements and highlighting concerns.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Maintain accurate records using the C365 Safety Management System and drive data recording improvements.
- Address remedial actions promptly to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Coordinate recruitment, training, and performance management of team members.
- Ensure high service delivery and continuous improvement of systems and procedures.
Who are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of experience in a Property Compliance role.
- Subject matter expert with enthusiasm for property compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interpret and convey legislative information effectively.
- Ability to work under demanding timescales to resolve regulatory issues.
