YOUR NEW JOB…

This is a unique opportunity to join SPORTFIVE\’s UK team as a Strategic Projects Manager, reporting directly to the UK Managing Director and supporting the Global Business Development function. You\’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact strategic initiatives, both internally across our UK operations and externally on a global scale.

We\’re looking for someone with a sharp commercial mindset, a strategic approach to problem-solving, and the confidence to work independently. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who wants to help shape the future of the sports business.

AS OUR STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL…

  • Partner with the UK Managing Director and Global Business Development team to develop and drive forward key strategic initiatives
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across UK and global offices to ensure successful execution of strategic plans
  • Play a central role in business development efforts by building robust business models and commercial cases for new ventures and partnerships
  • Conduct in-depth trend, market, and competitor analysis at both national and international levels
  • Create compelling presentations, reports, and tender responses to support rightsholder acquisitions, sponsorship pitches, partnership opportunities, and internal projects
  • Act as a key point of contact between rightsholder clients and internal SPORTFIVE teams, ensuring clear alignment across stakeholders during business development and strategic planning
  • Oversee projects from initial conception through to full implementation, ensuring strategic objectives are met
  • Support the UK leadership team with medium and long-term business planning and performance reporting

WHAT YOU\’LL BRING…

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial acumen, with the ability to think critically and communicate ideas clearly
  • Confident working independently, quick to learn, and comfortable forming your own well-informed opinions
  • Collaborative and personable, with a track record of building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • A willingness to listen and learn, and keen to develop
  • Proven experience excelling in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a natural ability to write clear, persuasive materials
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM or sales management tools is desirable but not essential.
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, economics, sports management) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience living, studying, or working abroad is an advantage; intercultural fluency and strong interpersonal skills are essential
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, Europe, and internationally as required
