Equans is looking for a Caretaker to join our team working at Caretaker Woodlands Academy, Partney Road, Spilsby, Lincolnshire PE23 5EJ. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The salary offered is £24,520 per annum along with a benefits package.

Working hours are from Monday to Friday, on a 2-week rota:

  • Week 1: 06:00-14:00
  • Week 2: 11:00-19:00

For this role, you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance; the ability to pass this is essential.

What will you deliver?

Ensure that all services are provided to a high standard in accordance with the requirements. This role involves being a key holder and delivering a full range of caretaking, maintenance, and cleaning duties, including site security. You should have a keen eye for detail and practical DIY skills.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in practical maintenance and DIY skills
  • Physically fit to handle manual handling, working at heights, and mobility around large sites
  • Living within 15 miles of Grantham to provide reactive and call-out cover
  • Flexible to work occasional overtime, weekends, and additional school use
  • Well presented, always wearing the uniform and protective clothing
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is required; this will be arranged after an offer is made.
