Junior Buyer – Wren Kitchens
Based at our Head Office in Barton‑Upon‑Humber, this full‑time role (Monday to Friday, 07:00‑15:30) is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional looking to grow in procurement.
About The Role
We are looking for a Junior Buyer who will handle day‑to‑day purchasing responsibilities, support senior buyers and manage supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring data accuracy
- Maintain accurate pricing, product and supplier information in internal systems
- Update forecasting tools and align usage data with suppliers
- Assist with supplier negotiations under the guidance of Buyers or Managers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify trends and alternative supply options
- Assist with departmental reporting, KPI tracking and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Customer Service, Technical, Marketing) on supplier‑related or product‑related projects
About You
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in a commercial, supply chain or admin support role preferred but not essential
