We have partnered with an organization who is focused on uncovering unconventional T cell targets to develop cancer immunotherapies that deliver long-lasting benefits to diverse patient populations. They are at the forefront of developing immunotherapeutic approaches to leverage their targets, including bispecific T-cell engagers, adoptive cell therapies, and cancer vaccines.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments to advance our preclinical pipeline of bispecific T cell engagers.
  • Contributing to the generation and selection of yeast TCR display libraries to engineer our TCR-directed, bispecific molecules.
  • Providing scientific expertise on TCR engineering projects to generate affinity optimised TCRs.
  • Ensuring scientific excellence is maintained within the team and function.
  • Reporting of experimental data at company meetings.
  • Actively contributing to a vibrant and innovative working environment where improvements and new ideas are adopted and freely shared among the teams.
  • Working closely with other functional teams, project & process leaders to advance our platforms and pipeline.

Requirements

  • A PhD or equivalent scientific experience in a relevant discipline / MSc plus 3+ years experience.
  • Hands-on experience in molecular biology e.g. PCR, cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, sanger sequencing and NGS sequencing.
  • Hands-on experience in Immunology e.g Flow Cytometry and cell culture.
  • Proven success in execution of scientific projects, demonstrating innovate thinking and problem solving.
  • Excellent communications skills and a strong desire to work in a highly collaborate environment.
