Our Team

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has two locations. Audi\’s Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group\’s Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

  • Set up and maintain the IT infrastructure for the Operations Room in Hinwil and occasionally at the race track and support it at races worldwide
  • Support users in application and system issues in the OPS room and occasionally at the race track
  • Support diverse IT infrastructure
  • Actively participate in the design of the future system landscape

Your profile

  • Completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist or a technical basic education with further training in computer science
  • Profound experience in the client/server area, including Microsoft environment, Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint Online, SQL Server, VMWare, Lenovo
  • Good knowledge in the network area, especially with Extreme and Cisco
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Communicative, solution-orientated, team player and flexible
  • Full professional proficiency in both German and English is mandatory
