Gas & Power Trading ETRM Managers & Senior Managers – Big 4 Consultancy

Big 4 management consultancy seeks Gas & Power ETRM Managers & Senior Managers to join their UK Commodity Trading Advisory Practice.

These are remote based roles, based from home, so you can live anywhere in the UK (needed for tax reasons) as long you are happy to commute /spend at least 1-2 days per week in their Central London office.

You’ll join a very established commodity trading consulting business who provide consultancy services typically to large scale multinational businesses who trade Natural Gas, Power, Crude Oil, LNG, Emissions, Carbon, Ags and Softs. Saying this the primary commodities they are looking for are UK or European Gas & Power.

They work across a range of ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) / CTRM (Commodity Trading & Risk Management) vendor selection, software implementation and upgrade projects both in doing the implementation work and oversees the E/CTRM vendors in doing the implementation. In addition, they work with clients looking to set up new trading desks in new commodities and regions, as well as help them optimize the way they trade and manage risk. The bulk of consulting work is in the UK, but they are a global consultancy practice who also do a lot of consulting work in the Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar etc) and Singapore.

The successful Managers and Senior Managers will be very bright and articulate with strong academics, some previous Gas & Power trading knowledge (they’d consider other commodities as well), ideally some ETRM related BA experience, or you could be more regulation, compliance, audit or have a focus in other parts of commodity trading consulting.

It is heavily preferred that you have a relevant passport (British or Irish) or visa (Indefinite Leave to Remain, or EU Settled Status Or UK Spousal Visa etc) allowing you to live and work in the UK without any obligations to sponsor from my client, but for an exceptional Gas & Power ETRM professional, who maybe has previous consulting experience etc, my client may sponsor a visa.

Salary: Β£70-110k basic + bonus + benefits
