Waking nights – Support Worker
Location: Uphall, West Lothian
Contract: 20 hours per week
Pay: £12.60 per hour
About the Role
Real Life Options is seeking caring and committed Support Workers to join our team in Uphall Station, West Lothian. You will be supporting four adults with learning disabilities in their shared home, helping them maintain independence and lead fulfilling lives.
This is a person-centred role where you’ll support individuals with their health and wellbeing, daily routines, social inclusion, and personal development.
Please note: This is a lone-working position, so you\’ll need to be confident and quick to adapt. Full training and shadow shifts will be provided.
What You\’ll Do
Support individuals with personal care, medication, cooking, and household tasks
Enable involvement in the local community and promote independence
Facilitate access to social opportunities and new experiences
Communicate with medical professionals and implement support plans and risk assessments
Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided
Communicate effectively with the team, family members
Work independently and as part of a supportive team
Shift Patterns
Waken Nightshifts 2 nights a week
Wednesday Nightshift (10pm – 9am)
Thursday Nightshift (10pm – 8am)

Requirements
Ability to travel to and from Uphall Station for each shift
A full UK driving licence is preferred due to the use of mobility vehicles
Enhanced PVG required (we will support the application process)
