We’re looking for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Image Engineer to join our growing team in Huddersfield. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise will make a real impact.
What you’ll be doing:
• Reviewing and validating repair estimates for commercial vehicles on behalf of leading insurers.
• Assessing vehicle damage using documentation, images, and technical data.
• Ensuring accuracy in cost indemnification and making necessary amendments to estimates.
• Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and consistency.

About you
• Previous proven body shop estimating experience (VDA with ATA accreditation), desktop engineering-based insurance work or body shop repairs (Paint/Panel Techs).
• Experience of commercial motor vehicles, familiarity with all types of damage and repair methods
• Good understanding and knowledge of estimating and valuation tools, especially Audatex
• Knowledge and experience of the commercial vehicle accident repair sector.
• Experience of commercial vehicles will be helpful along with exposure to an insurance or claims operating environment.
• Highly conscientious and self-motivated, with an eye for detail and proven problem-solving skills, you will gain genuine satisfaction from finding ways to continually provide exceptional customer service.
• An outstanding communicator and negotiator, you will also have strong questioning and listening skills, together with an ability to quickly develop rapport with customers and suppliers over the phone.
• A strong team player, you will strive to ensure the achievement of personal goals as well as providing support to colleagues.
