Relief Security Officer – Tesco Immingham
Minimum 8hrs per week – £13.40ph
Job Overview
- To protect our customer\’s property, people and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site\’s published Assignment Instructions (AI\’s) and any updates.
- Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements for the customer, ensuring full responsibility and accountability to aid in contract retention.
- Undertake additional training for continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
- Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and Guidance bodies.
- Complete all tasks on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI\’s).
- Review and familiarize with any changes to the AI\’s, suggesting amendments to improve service.
- Obtain and wear required licenses at all times, including Security Guarding, Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA License, and other contractual courses.
- Follow legal obligations and safety requirements.
- Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessary challenges.
- Work systematically and methodically.
Training
- Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
- Undertake additional training for self-development as directed.
- Utilize technology for work objectives and professional growth.
- Renew licenses 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
- Report hazards or potential hazards immediately.
- Stay alert to threats or environmental changes and take appropriate action.
- Use common sense and involve others if situations threaten safety.
- Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations.
- Accurately record incidents in notebooks for reports.
- Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment.
- Carry out check calls as stipulated in AI\’s.
- Report incidents to emergency services and Communication Centre.
