We are seeking an outstanding Fashion Lecturer to join our high-performing Art & Design Department at Wigan & Leigh College. About the Role:

As a Fashion Tutor, you will be central to the learner experience — inspiring and supporting students as they develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required for successful futures in the fashion and wider creative industries.

You’ll play a key role in:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and industry-relevant teaching at Level 3
  • Supporting practical studio work including fashion design, pattern cutting, garment manufacture and applied textiles
  • Organising and participating in fashion shows, cross-college collaborations, events, and industry projects
  • Encouraging students to explore diverse creative and cultural references within fashion
  • Working flexibly and collaboratively across the department to promote excellence
