Role Type – Full time (minimum 40 hours per week)
Applied Inspection are looking to employ NDT Technicians to carry out inspections at our labs and customer sites. With offices in Chesterfield, Burton-on-Trent and Ossett, we would be keen to hear from technicians within an hour’s commute of either of these locations. There is an ongoing need for Surface Testing, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current and Radiography Technicians due to a ever increasing workload. Only PCN Level 2 technicians will be considered, they must have a right to work in the UK and be within one hour of one of our three sites.
Ideal candidates will already hold PCN Level 2 qualifications in multiple methods, however further training will be provided upon employment where necessary, with excellent opportunities to develop NDT skills by working in a wide range of industries and environments alongside experienced technicians.
Candidates need to have a passion for NDT, with Safety, Quality and Integrity being absolute must have values.
Customer sites are based throughout the UK, therefore site-based NDT Technicians will be expected to be able to travel and work-away on occasions. as well as working overtime and weekends when required.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Carry out Non-Destructive Tests in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Interpret and evaluate test results in line with given acceptance standards.
- Produce clear and concise test reports.
- Display high levels of safety, integrity and professionalism at all times.
