Their modern fleet of vehicles and trailers is supported by a dedicated, experienced team.
They are now looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join us; someone who can make an immediate, positive impact both operationally and within the team culture.
(Transport Planner) – Position Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule loads to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Manage return loads to maximise efficiency and profitability.
Oversee driver performance and compliance with working time and driver hours regulations.
Coordinate vehicle and trailer maintenance in line with schedules.
Accurately update traffic system in real-time.
Collaborate with the transport team and attend operational reviews.
Build a strong understanding of the wider transport network to support group-wide efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement across all planning and operational processes.
Uphold and develop Health & Safety and Environmental standards.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable, responsive service.

Proven experience in the transport or logistics industry
Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage and support your driver team

(Transport Planner) – Position Remuneration:
Salary – £30,000 – £36,000
Monday to Friday, 7am – 4/ 5pm (TBC)
20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Death in Service
