Job Purpose
We’re on the lookout for a practical, hands‑on person to join us as a Delivery Driver. Most of your time you’ll be delivering parts and equipment to our Field Service Engineers. You’ll also be helping out engineers on site: servicing and testing diesel generators, learning the ropes as you go.
For the right person, this isn’t just a driving job — it’s the first step toward becoming a Field Service Engineer in around five years’ time.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving around the region delivering parts, tools and equipment to engineers.
- Helping engineers out on site with generator servicing, testing and maintenance.
- Keeping the delivery van clean, roadworthy and ready to go.
- Supporting the workshop team by sorting and moving parts.
- Keeping simple delivery records and paperwork.
- Being a friendly, helpful face of Power Electrics wherever you go.
- Following all our health & safety rules to keep yourself and others safe.
Skills & Experience

- Full UK driving licence (with 3 points or less).
- Practical, hands‑on attitude and willing to muck in.
- Friendly, positive and reliable.
- Physically fit (there’s some lifting involved).

- Experience driving for work or in a delivery job.
- Interest in mechanics, engineering or electrical work.
Any technical qualifications or certificates
