Overview
As a General Catering Assistant for Sodexo at the school site, you will contribute to the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will help showcase kitchen offerings and ensure the service provided is of a high standard. Working hours are arranged to provide a balanced schedule, with public holidays off where applicable.
What You Do
- Prepare meals for the school team and pupils.
- Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic at all times.
- Support loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
- Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure all machines and equipment are operated correctly.

Package Description
- £12.60 per hour
- 18 hours per week
- Working pattern: Monday – Friday (10:00 am – 2:00 pm)
- Term-time only (39 weeks) with pay spread over 52 weeks
Equated pay explains spreading pay over 12 months; further information will be provided at interview.
