Key Details
The Production Planner position is working for a manufacturer in the Andover area. The working hours for the role are Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, and an early finish of 3:30pm Friday. The role is paying up to £35,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- create detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels and production capacity
- coordinate with purchasing and other departments to ensure materials and components are available on time
- work closely with sales, engineering and operations to align production plans with business objectives
- monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- manage inventory levels and prepare production reports
- resolve any production‑related issues such as material shortages or quality concerns
- display strong organisational and planning skills, attention to detail and the ability to analyse data to support decision‑making
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a similar position within manufacturing/production
- Strong experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Previous experience within electronic manufacturing is advantageous
- Any relevant degree or supporting qualifications is beneficial
- To be able to commute to Andover and work onsite
