An opportunity exists in the Council’s Street Scene Services for a temporary Administrative Assistant, to cover maternity leave, working 22 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday) from our Depot at Carrwood Road, Castleford.

What will be expected from me?

This post will provide operational and administrative support to the Street Scene Officers and Supervisorsin delivering a high quality citizen focused outward facing Street Scene service within the Wakefield District.

What I might be doing?

Undertake administrative duties on specific aspects of the work of Street Scene under the direction of senior staff.

Essential requirements:

  • City and Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Office Administration or related subject.
  • Minimum of 4 GCSE passes (A-C) including English and Maths.

What can I expect?

  • This post is 22 hours per week.
  • Support and ongoing training.
