Job Purpose Summary
The ideal candidate will come with a track record of delivering business change across digital platforms such as eCommerce, CRM, and ERP. As a Digital Business Analyst at CMS you will be part of an expanding BA team, dedicated to ensuring you deliver the correct solutions that align with the goals of the CMS group. You’ll be able to multitask, working on a variety of projects that help implement the MIS team\’s digital product strategy whilst also working on delivering solutions that will contribute towards the operational and financial targets of the business.
Role Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaboration between the MIS team and the wider business, communicating and translating business operational requirements into technical solutions
- Deliver integrated technical solutions to address business problems and requirements
- Produce conceptual high-level designs that are aligned to business processes
- Define and elicit business change requirements, undertake data analysis and data modelling activities to support and illustrate change requests
- Deliver documented functional specifications outlining user stories and business benefits
- Work with 3rd Parties/Vendors to ensure technical solutions are completed within project timeline, quality standards and requirements
- Co-ordinate and support User Acceptance Testing with Business Key Users
- Maintain ownership of the functional and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle process
- Collaborate with the Development Manager to manage the development backlog Participate on the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Architecture Review Board (ARB)

Skills & Personal Attributes
- Practical experience in successfully working within IT projects from inception to delivery utilising a mix of internal and external resources
- Operational background in a multi-channel business or in a distribution or supply chain, FMCG or similar organisation
- Functional end to end experience across eCommerce, Commercial, Supply Chain and Customer Service, with a solid understanding of B2B and B2C processes together with the financial relationships relating to each function
- Solid knowledge of interfaces and interactions between core internal applications (eCommerce Platform & ERP) and external partners (EDI, web services)
- Experience of defining, documenting and delivering system integration as part of process reengineering and change programmes
- Experience of defining and documenting processes, identifying gaps and proposing improvements in line with business strategy
- Practical experience of working with multiple technology platforms and applications with a broad spectrum of knowledge across projects, solutions and services
- Experienced in sustaining strong working relationships with business stakeholders and the IT Development Team
- Practical experience of best practice methodology in solution and service delivery and in project management, using both waterfall & agile methodologies * Enthusiastic and flexible with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, with the ability to understand the bigger picture
- Ability to work autonomously and to plan and organise own and peer workloads and work within challenging deadlines
- Hands-on experience of outsourcing and 3rd party collaborative working
