About The Role
- Location: York
- Role type: Permanent
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week
- Salary: Up to ÂŁ15.50 per hour, dependent on experience
You will be part of a two‑person team operating high‑specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units. Work projects will include draining‑related issues such as blockage clearance, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works. Although you start at the depot, you will be mobile, attending all work activities across various sectors – industrial, rail, utility, commercial and residential – travelling throughout the region as required.
Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role
- HGV Class 2 licence with no more than three penalty points, ideally
- A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
- Competence with an electronic device – laptop or tablet – for data entry
- Physical fitness and lots of energy
- An in‑date CSCS card would be advantageous – this could be obtained if necessary
