Position: Male Support Worker at Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall
Location: Truro and travel across Cornwall for days out
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Shifts: 8-hour shifts / days
Staffing: 1-1
Salary: £12.24 weekdays, £12.42 weekends, plus 50% extra on Bank Holidays. Mileage paid at 35p per mile.
About the role:
Support involves driving my mobility car (not adapted), accompanying me for the full 8 hours, supporting with tidiness and laundry, and occasionally collecting/delivering family members to appointments or shopping. I do not require support with medication or personal care.
I have complex needs and move at a fast pace. Experience or training in Autism is essential.
About me:
I have an entrepreneurial mindset, love shopping for resell, enjoy creating films, listening to music, playing arcade games, and visiting the beach. My favorite characters are SpongeBob and Scooby-Doo. I prefer to be supported by male workers and need to meet at least 3 times initially to build trust.
