Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfilhas combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.
We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives/Production Operatives to work in our busy Lamb and Beef Boning Departments on site in Merthyr Tydfil.
This is a full time, permanent position working 5.30am/6.00am with a variable production finish depending on production numbers that day – Monday to Friday with a salary of £12.40 per hour.
Job Description:
- Working proficiently as part of a team to ensure the daily planned production is maintained
- Packing meat in to the relevant boxes/packaging required
- Moving the packs to different parts of the factory.
- Full PPE provided
