What Is The Job?
As a receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact, handling transactions, offering local insights and anticipating every detail of a friction‑free experience. You’ll create a warm atmosphere that makes guests feel at home.

Responsibilities
- Warm welcome to start a memorable guest experience
- Recognise IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or on the phone
- Take and manage guest bookings, upsell opportunities, and inform guests about enhancing their stay
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Check guests in and out quickly – take IDs, hand out room keys, control access
- Anticipate and record guest needs, preferences, requests, and concerns; act on them promptly
- Act as a trusted contact for all guests, handling bill issues, local knowledge, and escalating to management when needed
- Adhere to safety procedures, report incidents and wear protective gear as required
- Maintain a professional appearance as a brand ambassador
- Know daily events and activities on the schedule
- Assist with ad‑hoc duties as needed by colleagues

Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in a receptionist role

- Literate and tech‑savvy – good reading, writing, basic maths, computers
Desired Qualifications
- One year reception experience in a hospitality setting
