Job Description

A leading Top 10 Global Cost & Engineering Consultancy is looking to recruit a Global IT Procurement Manager to join their group procurement function.

The main objective of the role is to develop and deliver IT category plans and projects from a global perspective, whilst also meeting the needs of regional operational teams in the UK.

Key duties will include:

  • Responsible for delivering end-to-end IT global category plans.
  • Supporting on variety of hard and software IT projects for the business.
  • Delivering contract, performance, and supplier relationship management objectives.
  • Building relationships internally and externally to enable you to become a trusted business partner.

  • As part of a team of 5, you will be individually responsible for the strategic procurement of IT categories globally for the business.
  • Managing, and driving the performance of a wide range of suppliers across various sub-categories including Software, SaaS, Hardware, Cloud, and Infrastructure.
  • Interfacing with senior level stakeholders across the company within the various regional business units to get buy in on the category plans you are implementing and as a result the savings you are making for the business.

Candidate Requirements

  • Our client is looking for candidates with 3 years\’ experience procuring IT categories across any industry.
  • Our client is looking for Procurement or Category Managers looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Senior Buyers looking for career progression.
  • You will have assisted with, or lead, the development and implementation of category or framework strategies. Any contract management or legal support experience is beneficial however not essential.
  • You will be degree qualified and currently studying CIPS.
