My client are the UK largest service, sales and support network within the UK sheet metal indsutry. They are seeking a Field based Laser Engineer to cover between Manchester and Liverpool and the surrounding areas. JOB PURPOSE: Diagnose and rectify machine problems and breakdowns Training customer in operation, maintenance, and safety aspects Regular routine service of machines and associated equipment Promote tooling sales and sales of maintenance contracts Promote sales of machine tools and associated equipment KEY REQUIREMENTS: A suitable engineering qualification – HNC/ Degree ideally with electrical element being large part of learning Previous field experience in laser machinery would be an advantage Apprentice trained engineer with at least one year’s practical experience Understanding of electrical/electronic/hydraulic and mechanical drawings and systems Strong electrical experience including fault finding skills, schematic understanding. Fanuc experience an advantage
