Ashley Kate HR are pleased to support a well-established client that are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be based at their site in Norwich with a salary of up to £40,000. Hybrid working is available – 3 days on site As a Senior HR advisor you will provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring that HR policies, procedures, and best practices are effectively implemented across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing advice on employment legislation, company policies, and procedures. Support managers with employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance management cases. Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting adverts, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews. Provide guidance on learning and development opportunities, helping to identify training needs and supporting career progression plans. Ensure the accurate maintenance of HR records, including employee files, contracts, and compliance documentation. Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and health and wellbeing programs. Advise on and manage the administration of employee benefits, including pensions and holiday entitlements. Monitor key HR metrics and prepare reports for senior management to support decision-making. About You: Strong and Proven experience in a similar HR/generalist advisory role. A CIPD qualification ( or equivalent) or working towards is highly advantageous Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering results. Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
